Breeze Winter Fall Colllection

FRESH BREEZE:

FALL-WINTER 2011/2012 COLLECTION

The new Maya Negri collection had just landed in our stores. Here's a taste of what you are about to find

At this very moment, you can enter any one of our stores and familiarize with the fall-winter collection, which emerged from constant examination of the female body, fascinating encounters with places and inspiring people and the desire to create a presence which is hard to ignore.

When I design, I always think of the woman who will wear the piece; her busy schedule and that important need - to be current, confident and relaxed at the same time. The new collection offers a vast array of clothes which provide effortless chic for every hour of every day.

So, what's waiting for you in between our hangers? The collection is divided to two main lines. The first one includes modern garments, each with its own little twist. Whether it's soft fully fashion knitwear, skirts which embrace the waist gently or fitted denim.  Each garment suggests a tender play – in dressmaking patterns, fabric or in the architectural sculpting of each piece.

The second line includes 14 garments, which lie at the base of the collection and pose its starting point. These models are for every woman who seeks to send an instant message; who’s thirsty for avant-garde whose also feminine, courageous and sexy.

At the base of every piece lies a desire to break through the boundaries of everything that is familiar, as well as a tribute for fashion designers who inspired me – the heroes of minimalism and avant-garde, among them Yhoji Yamamoto and Ray Kawakubo from “Comme de Garcons”.

This line also includes a short sleeved jacket with a v opening, which reaches to the pelvis in a geometrical figure, steering away from the body; a soft dress with a diagonal line of buttons and a slight accentuation of the waist; a dress with a standing collar, a zipper stretching all the way down and a see-through tunic which plays with multiple layers, draped softly.

The collection’ fabrics were imported from around the globe. Among them, thi s season includes a scratched fabric from Japan, which allowed me to intertwine complex dramatic figures. Additionally, the collection includes felt fabric from Italy.

Each and every one of you has distinct style. Every season, I embrace the opportunity to offer this style a new interpretation. You are more than welcome to drop by, experiment and choose your own way to view and feel the upcoming wint
