Mehndi Designs for Hands

Mehndi Designs for Hands

India is the biggest country where mehndi is used by women and girls all over the country. Mehndi is a hindi word used to describe the beauty treatment with the henna leaves which is crushed to make henna powder or mehndi powder, which on application leaves behind its stains in the skin. Mehndi is ancient India’s tradition which Indians are following till date. The henna plant is grown in the rural part of India and is sold by mehndi manufacturing companies like Prakash Mehndi, etc. all over the India. Arabic mehndi designs are also popular in India. The mehndi designs are made on both the sides of hands and on foot too. Though some people prefer simple mehndi designs for hands.
The general process of the application of mehndi paste on the hands and foot in India involves the filling of the paste in a conical container made of polythene or soft plastic which is then pressed softly while hovering over the hands according to the design while the mehndi paste comes out of the cone tip and settling over the hand. The conical surface of the container doesn’t actually comes in contact with the surface of the hand. After the designing of mehndi over the hand, lemon and mehndi oil are applied over hand and then it is allowed to dry. The mehndi color gets deeper with drying time and can be accelerated by heating the mehndi over the hand by holding the hands near the heat source.
